Slightly embarrassed to admit I’ve been inspired by Rayanne Graff of MSCL. I never realized how miserable these kids were until lurking around on youtube for clips. I guess I was too young to know the difference when the show was in its prime…let’s see, what was I wearing Circa 1994? It would have to start with a turtleneck on top, tucked into pleated mom shorts that were then layered over floral leggings, then tucked into neatly folded socks and topped off with little lace up ankle boots (Sam & Libby, anyone?)Â I’m happy we’ve reached a point in time where we can pick and choose from the 1990s, aren’t you?

You can watch whole episodes on hulu! http://www.hulu.com/my_so_called_life I’ve recently started rewatching it, it’s even more amazing than I remember.
