Don’t ask me how and when this happened, but I woke up one morning and spring was here with summer fast-approaching. Crazy, right? Now that I’m peeling back some layers and pants are borderline optional (um, within reason), I’ve completely submitted to the laid back California archetype: sunroof open, KDAY blasting (L.A.’s classic hip-hop radio station), shades dark, and outfit? Casual.
Call us old school, but we’d rather shoot with film over digital any day. That’s why we were completely smitten as soon as we heard about Girls on Film, a killer photography zine that features portraits of cool girls, all shot with film cameras.
The zine’s editor-slash-curator Igor Termenón is constantly on the hunt for other emerging photographers that share his passion for capturin
After two weeks solid of travel, I’d spent enough time in mirror-covered hotel rooms to drive myself insane.
On the Second Sunday of every month, you’ll usually find us (and every other vintage-crazed girl) at the Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena.
Of course, one of our favorite things about the Rose Bowl is getting to spot some of the coolest street style in LA. We always end up snapping a ton of photos while we’re on the hunt for vintage treasures. Here’s some of the sweet stuff we found on our latest trip!
We spotted this girl sifting through the racks in an epic denim jacket with a leather cross and collar. Badass doesn’t even begin to describe it. And how rad are these neon smiley face rings? They brought us back to the days we proudly rocked slap bracelets…in a good way.

Meet Jacqueline, our shoe buyer extraordinaire. Inspired by googling street style, and all the pretty, edgy, androgynous, badass things in the world, her style never ceases to surprise and amaze us— whether she’s in ripped denim or a giant faux fur. And even though she lovingly refers to her shoes as her children, she’s almost as passionate about Harry Potter.
The studio is always blasting music and dancing around during photo shoots, playing everything from nostalgic ’90s jams to the most obscure band you’ve never heard of. We usually find ourselves asking what they’re listening to, so we wanted to share the goodness. Here’s what our assistant stylist, Nick, currently has on repeat.
Ever since stumbling upon Alice Point, we’ve been totally hooked on the Polish blogger’s supremely cool style. Influenced by ’90s fashion, Brick Lane, and people watching on the tram, her outfits are always fun and super inspiring. That’s why we asked her to hit the streets, armed with a camera and amazing platforms, to give us a glimpse into her world beyond the blog.
