Tuesday, April 10, 2012 (Almost) Vintage: High Contrast
This ’94 Glamour France editorial by Mario Sorrenti makes me want to slick my hair back, throw on a deep-cut dress, and dance around my apartment to Grace Jones. Preferably with a glass of champagne in hand.

One of the newest Nasty Gal models, TJ is quickly becoming one of our faves. With a sweet face and knockout bod, she’s definitely got the super-hot-girl-next-door thing nailed. Friday, April 6, 2012 Sophia’s Corner: Movin’ On Up
It’s been a long road since leaving eBay cold-turkey to launch the Nasty Gal website in 2008. At that time, I was the only employee and was still steaming, shipping, styling — you name it…everything. I designed the first version of the Nasty Gal website (the first and only website I’ve designed to date), as well as the first-ever Nasty Gal blog. See that face up in the right hand corner? That’s Dee. Dee modeled for me on eBay as a teenager, then grew up, went to fashion school, and is now here in LA working in our super-new, super-exciting Design Department. That’s right. Nasty Gal will be launching our very own collection later this year! But back to the blog. Don’t want to overshadow how exciting today’s launch of the new blog is.
