TGIF, kids. We’re hitting the road for a Vegas bachelorette party, chasing waterfalls and watching ’80s classics in the park!

Jaclyn, Fashion Writer: “I’m headed to Vegas for my very first bachelorette party…which also happens to be my own! Here’s to hoping there’s more champagne than embarrassing games.”

Lisa, Junior Buyer: “Planning the most sensible outfits for MAGIC Tradeshow next week! It’s the one time flats are a must.”

Madison, Junior Copywriter:Simone, Nicki and I are having a mini bar crawl before heading over to MOCA for a free Zola Jesus show!”

Thursday, August 16, 2012 NOM NOM NOM: Pit Stop

One of the greatest parts of any road trip is stopping for burgers and milkshakes at a hole-in-the-wall diner along the way. There’s just something about piling into a vinyl booth to chow down on comfort food in the middle of nowhere that makes us feel like we’re living the American dream. Get inspired to hit the road, and see what we’ll be packing.

Thursday, August 16, 2012 Role Model: Fiona Apple

We’ve been huge fans of Fiona Apple since the ’90s, when we rushed home from class to catch the (still amazing) video for ”Criminal“ on TRL. With striking natural beauty that’s just as unique as her voice and style, we couldn’t be more stoked about her return to the spotlight with her latest album, The Idler Wheel. Not only did she pen all the lyrics, she also drew the album art and sketches scattered throughout the CD booklet that beg to be taped on your bedroom wall. Fiona’s a true artist that isn’t afraid to speak her mind, forever sealing her status as one of the coolest girls in the world.
