DIY Crayon Lipstick
We decided to make crayon lipstick because we thought it looked like fun. But in light of recent news that traditional lipstick contains lots of scary stuff, it turns out that it’s pretty practical too! Crayons are totally non-toxic and made to be safe enough for kindergarteners to munch on, and all the other ingredients are food-grade, so perfectly okay to put on your lips. Try this out, and you’re guaranteed to be the brightest crayon in the box…er, room.

Painted Desert
Laura Allard-Fleischl of Ponyhunter took us on a romp through the desert to capture candy-coated summer essentials at Salvation Mountain, a.k.a. her own personal Candyland. The result is a series of freewheelin’ babes clad in mesh swimsuits and dresses hot enough to melt the sun.

Coachella Fever
We just beamed back to earth from a stellar first weekend at Coachella and, let us tell you, it was a total whirlwind. And while we’re totally beat (a full day of dancing and singing to our favorite bands followed by desert parties till sunrise will do that to you), we can’t wait to get back out there for weekend two. Now that we’re a whole week older—and therefore, wiser—we have plenty of advice to our fellow festivalgoers.
