Tuesday, June 17, 2014 Nasty Gals In The Wild: Oyster x Nasty Gal: From Where You’d Rather Be
Because we just launched our site in Australia (and because Aussie models Zoe Cross, Rachel Rutt, and Valentina Sykes are a few sartorial steps ahead of the rest of us), we asked our friends at Oyster to teach us about style down under. What photographer Rene Vaile and stylist Megha Kapoor created were affirmations of the Aussie stereotypes we all dream of: clear skies, scenic views of the Sydney Opera House, and girls who don’t play by the rules. Of course, we never knew Sydney was home to so many neon signs, but that was a nice touch.

Thursday, May 29, 2014 Nasty Gals In The Wild: Gals Of Summer: KIKI The Minimalist
To kick off Gals of Summer, we traveled from LA to NYC to track down the real girls who heat up the city.
Kiki, a photo editor for The Wall Group, is a minimalist with a club kid twist. With jet black bangs and porcelain skin, she personifies cool and never lets ‘em see her sweat. Check out her White Haute Summer Goth summer survival guide.

Wednesday, April 23, 2014 Nasty Gals In The Wild: Pharrell’s Backup Dancers
While hangin’ in the Cali desert all weekend long, we got down at some killer shows, but—if we’re going to be real for a sec—one of our favorite live performances had to be Pharrell. Not only did he bring his A-game onstage (and a surprise visit from Busta Rhymes!), but all his back-up singers and dancers were decked out in tons of Nasty Gal pieces. Rhea Dummett, Ashley Simpson, Khadija Nicholas, Christina Chandler, Ai Shimatsu, Mette Towley, Aye Hasegawa and Brya Underwood wore super graphic, ’90s-inspired ensembles that were totally fest and stage ready. Check out how they styled their looks (and swipe ‘em up for yourself) below!

Thursday, April 17, 2014 Nasty Gals In The Wild: I Was There…
Our Junior Fashion Copywriter Remy Ramirez shares her experience at the first-ever Coachella back in 1999, where she swiped up her $50 tickets at a Virgin Records store in Hollywood and survived the desert heat in mid-October.
I Christened Coachella. No seriously, I did. I was the first 18-year-old girl to wear a vintage bikini top, cutoffs, and cowboy hat to the desert—and to roll so hard I’d end up sitting on the grass with two dudes, rubbing their hairy calves euphorically while the headliner’s muffled scream-singing droned somewhere on the other side of a mega-crowd. It went a little something like this.
