Thursday, April 17, 2014 Nasty Gals In The Wild: I Was There…
Our Junior Fashion Copywriter Remy Ramirez shares her experience at the first-ever Coachella back in 1999, where she swiped up her $50 tickets at a Virgin Records store in Hollywood and survived the desert heat in mid-October.
I Christened Coachella. No seriously, I did. I was the first 18-year-old girl to wear a vintage bikini top, cutoffs, and cowboy hat to the desert—and to roll so hard I’d end up sitting on the grass with two dudes, rubbing their hairy calves euphorically while the headliner’s muffled scream-singing droned somewhere on the other side of a mega-crowd. It went a little something like this.
Monday, April 14, 2014 Guest Edit: Nazanin Mandi’s Festival Diary
We were so stoked when singer/model/actress/all-around babetron Nazanin Mandi stopped by NGHQ last month to talk all-things festival, but, dang, girl was not kidding about having a killer time in the desert (and mastering those well-lit selfies). She shared some seriously awesome snaps with us, and, well, we’ll let her do all the talking. Take it away, Nazanin!

Friday, April 4, 2014 Top Tens: Things We Loved This Week
We can barely keep track of all the amazingly on-point articles, songs, and generally-awesome internet gems we discover every week, so instead of just emailing them to our BFFs and calling it a day, we’re sharing our favorite things right here on the blog every Friday. (We’re cool like that.)
Friday, April 4, 2014 Nasty Gals In The Wild: The Fabulous Stains: Luna Lovebad
As we dive deeper into festival season, we want to talk about all-things rave! Each day this week, contributor Nicky Ottav will hit up a member of L.A.-based fashion collective/cyber cool kids club The Fabulous Stains and ask ‘em to dish on their best fest tips.
Luna Lovebad is a blogger, designer, model, and rapper from Compton, California. She is one of my closest friends and one of the most kawaii girls I have ever met! Luna is a recent addition to The Fabulous Stains blog and also writes for her own website. On any given day you can find Luna on a photo shoot, at the Japanese dollar store, or designing for her clothing brand BITCHMADE LA. I love Luna to death, so I caught up with her to ask all about her festival fashion! —N.O.
