Monday, March 31, 2014 Nasty Gals In The Wild: Jessi Jae Joplin
As we dive deeper into festival season, we want to talk about all-things rave! Each day this week, contributor Nicky Ottav will hit up a member of L.A.-based fashion collective/cyber cool kids club The Fabulous Stains and ask ‘em to dish on their best fest tips.
Jessi Jae Joplin is the creator/founder of The Fabulous Stains fashion blog and the lead singer of the L.A-based pop/rock band The Ruckus (and a great friend of mine!). When Jessi isn’t blogging or playing shows, she models and styles photoshoots. Jessi also contributes to Buzznet, E! Online, and The Pulp Zine. I caught up with Jessi to get the lowdown on her favorite festival moments.

Friday, March 28, 2014 Top Tens: Things We Loved This Week
We can barely keep track of all the amazingly on-point articles, songs, and generally-awesome internet gems we discover every week, but instead of just emailing them to our BFFs and calling it a day, we’re going to start sharing them with y’all right here on the blog every Friday. (We’re cool like that.) Today, we honor the end of Women’s History Month with a very female-friendly edition of “Top Ten Things We Loved This Week.” Ch-ch-ch-check it outtt.
Tuesday, March 25, 2014 Guest Edit: Cailin Hill’s Adventures In Okinawa, Japan
I’ve never actually gone on a vacation before. OK, that’s a lie. Once I went to Costa Rica in the off-season with a guy I wasn’t dating and learned my lesson HARD about off-season vacationing and the rules of platonic relationships while abroad. *ahem* It was complete misery and—beyond the boy troubles—it rained every single day. A total write-off. I’ve been in Tokyo for a year now, and it’s the longest I’ve lived in a country since I began traveling in my early 20s. I went a bit mad and booked a vacation to Okinawa on a whim, which is still in Japan but perhaps the farthest place from Tokyo that I could get to on a 3-day weekend.
Thursday, March 20, 2014 Top Tens: Spring Break Forever
1. RIDIN’ HIGH
Now that winter is officially over, we only have one thing on our minds: SPRANG BREAKKK. From babes in bikinis to endless beach parties, there’s a million and one reasons to celebrate—here’s to the MTV glory days where beer koozies and bad decisions reigned supreme.
