Wednesday, July 16, 2014 Guest Edit: The Clothing Coven Hits NYC
In the high school of life, Mallory Llewellyn and Tallulah Willis are the girls everyone else wants to be. They’re the ones who look impossibly cool in their off-kilter outfits. They are also the girls that come off super intimidating, but are actually friends with every kid in every clique, from the weirdos to the goths to the jocks to the cheerleaders: that’s just how they roll. At 20-years old, Mallory and Tallulah aren’t that far removed from high school, but they are still the girls that every other girl wants to be. In March of this year, the best friends with “the same taste but totally different style” launched The Clothing Coven (really cool Instagram found here), an online magazine that they intend to act as, in the words of Mallory, “pretty much a helm for every type of girl. It can be a place for the weirdo who doesn’t fit in, the pretty girl who has no friends because everyone is jealous, or the mom who wants to stay hip on what her kids are into.”
The Clothing Coven isn’t just a fashion blog: the site covers everything from style to music to photography to art to travel, all with a distinctly personal touch, like your two imaginary best friends are cluing you in as to what’s up in the world of cool.
Recently Tallulah and Mallory took a month-long trip to NYC and shared with us their favorite moments:
Friday, July 11, 2014 Newsflash: The Queen’s English by Martine Syms and Cat Roif
Martine Syms has already taught us a lot about music and art. But today, we want to spread the word about one of her and photographer phenom Cat Roif‘s personal projects, because they’re doing some pretty cool stuff. From July 13 through August 31, Armory Center for the Arts will feature The Queen’s English, an exhibition and reading room. The exhibition will explore black feminist communities in the ’70s and promote discussions on language and representation. In other words, this is cool stuff and you should go! The opening reception is this Saturday the 12th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm!

Melbourne born and bred model Chloe Worthington is one to watch. The 19-year-old ex-ballerina has legs for days and has shot with Vice, SRC783, and Oyster Magazine. We caught up with the tiny dancer to talk about waffles, Instagram stalking, and her daily hang out spots.
