Tuesday, August 19, 2014 Right Now: After Party
Good news—everything old is new again! At least that’s the case with our new collection, After Party. Our exclusive collection of punk rock plaids, tomboy florals, and shredded denim reworked from vintage fabrics and inspired by the ’90s reminds us that reality doesn’t bite all the time. It’s limited edition, so join the After Party while you can!
Saturday, August 16, 2014 Right Now: HBD, Madonna!
Attention all Material Girls: wish the Queen of Pop an HBD! You’d think after all these years, Madonna couldn’t do anything to surprise us, but this morning she took things to another level with this babely boob photo on Insta. It might not be the newest pic, but who are we to complain?
Tuesday, August 12, 2014 Role Model: FKA twigs
We don’t know what we love more about FKA twigs: her hypnotic dance moves (think: subdued belly dancer), her unique brand of style (gelled chola curls, strong brows, ornate septum ring, and a red lip? Yes, please), her unmatchable music videos (anime-esque “Water Me” is as absurd as it is simple) or her siren-like voice (just try listening to “Papi Pacify” and not falling into a lovely trance). What we do know is that we’re beyond excited to finally be witnessing all of that live at her El Rey Theatre show in Los Angeles tonight.
Monday, August 11, 2014 Right Now: Nemesis Babe Shoots Copenhagen Fashion Week
With their penchant for staying chic in sneakers and biking rather than Benzing to fashion week, there’s a lot to love about the style stars of Copenhagen. This weekend marked the end of their fashion week, but luckily we had Marie Jensen on the street to shoot all the best looks. If you’re interested in going #normcore, look no further: Copenhagen Fashion Week welcomes more chunky knits, heels with socks, and furry flip flops than you’ve ever seen.
Wednesday, August 6, 2014 Right Now: Happy Birthday, Andy!
Pop art aficionados take some time out of your day to remember the greatest in the game. It’s Andy Warhol’s big 8-6 today and we think everyone needs to recognize it. Best known for reappropriating celebrity, culture and advertisement as art, Warhol is an icon to art lovers the world over. He was the founder of Interview and undoubtedly the reason we have the pop art effect on Photobooth. If you’re in LA, make your way over to MOCA in September to check out Andy Warhol: Shadows, an exhibition that presents one Warhol painting in 102 parts!
