We can throw a dang good party, guys, and we’ve got proof. On the heels of last month’s NYFW rager, we decided to celebrate our second #SHOECULT collection at Dirty Laundry Bar in Hollywood—with the help DJs POSSO and Venus X, of course. The result? Lots of dancing, drinking and downright adorable babes.

The time has come: This is Marie Jensen‘s last installment of street style photos from the Spring 2014 fashion weeks. Before she heads back to her native Denmark, she rounded up sartorial efforts seen on the concrete catwalk in Paris. Surprisingly, the aesthetic this year was slightly different than years past. Usually the city attracts a lot of dressing in dark colors, pulling menswear inspiration, and hones the native-aesthetic of “Parisian Chic.” Although those styles didn’t completely stray, the scene was much more lively this year, with color, texture, and volume galore.
Our girl Marie Jensen was on the scene to snap the always-trend-forecasting style spotted at Milan Fashion Week. On the streets, color reigned supreme and no one forgot to have a little fun with their wardrobe. We’ve obviously already hopped on that bandwagon. Next stop, Paris!
Remember Marie Jensen? She’s the insanely stylish Danish blogger who taught us how to expertly mix new & vintage clothes. In addition to her personal style blog, she also has an impeccably curated street style blog, Nemesis, Babe Streetstyle. Over the next few weeks Marie will be chronicling all the street style at London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks for us Nasty Gals who weren’t able to hop over the pond. Read on to get inspired by what those super creative Brits are wearing!
This NYFW had something for everyone: Are you a bodycon girl? Or do you prefer trousers? Either way, the Spring 2014 collections at New York Fashion Week had you in mind. The best part about this season (we think) is the texture overload. Indulge in an elegant silk or strut your stuff in some tight-ass leather, or wear them both at once: juxtaposition is as in as Miley was pre-VMAs. The color palette is equally all over the place (in a good way). Many collections favored greyscale tones to complement their menswear aesthetic, while our favorite color trends were baby pink and bright tangerine orange, which actually looked awesome together. Below we have collected our favorite looks from the designers at NYFW SS14, take a peek and get inspired!
