Ball So Hard

The World Cup kicks off on June 12th in Brazil! That exclamation point (much like many of my exclamation points, to be honest) is feigned, because in regards to soccer, I know about as much as British people know about nachos (in case you were wondering what that means, last time I ate nachos in London, they came topped with BBQ sauce). But I digress: soccer (or football, as the rest of the free world calls it) is cool for many reasons: during World Cup, you have an excuse to go to a bar at 10am, David Beckham, and of course, soccer-related fashion. We rounded up some of our favorite examples of the latter, drawing from the Nasty Gal vintage archives, a Victoria’s Secret fashion show, Carine Roitfeld’s Instagram, and more:

Ingredients For A Festival

festival

Ah, music festivals. We live for the adrenaline-filled three day weekend of non-stop music, dancing, and BFF hangs, but—we have to be real—it’s not all pretty flower crowns and perfect beachy waves. There’s a large (see: 100%) chance that you’ll be the sweatiest, dirtiest, and thirstiest you’ve been in your entire life, but, hey, in the end it’s all worth it. So, in the spirit of festival season, we compiled a (semi-realistic) list of ingredients for the perfect festival—complete with blisters and all.

Copenhagen Fashion Week Street Style

Copenhagen street style NEMESIS, BABE-10

Copenhagen kicked off the first fashion week of the year (NYFW starts in T-minus two days!), and we sent our overseas photographer/resident fashion babe Marie Jensen to document all the killer street style along the way. (Yes, this means she’ll be stopping by London, Milan, and Paris in the very near future. Get pumped!) In our first round of street style snaps, we noticed tons of candy-colored hair, long statement jackets, and no-nonsense mini backpacks. Check out some of our favorite looks below!
