Sunday, May 20, 2012 Sophia’s Corner: How To: The 24-Hour Vacation
Think it’s impossible to skip town for 24 hours, crash at a hotel some Friday night and still make it home in time for your Sunday brunch? It’s not! I just pulled it off — tips below…

First of all… a big thank you goes out to all of you girls and guys for joining our long-awaited relaunch party! Everyone looked awesome – so many babes all around. Friday, April 6, 2012 Sophia’s Corner: Movin’ On Up
It’s been a long road since leaving eBay cold-turkey to launch the Nasty Gal website in 2008. At that time, I was the only employee and was still steaming, shipping, styling — you name it…everything. I designed the first version of the Nasty Gal website (the first and only website I’ve designed to date), as well as the first-ever Nasty Gal blog. See that face up in the right hand corner? That’s Dee. Dee modeled for me on eBay as a teenager, then grew up, went to fashion school, and is now here in LA working in our super-new, super-exciting Design Department. That’s right. Nasty Gal will be launching our very own collection later this year! But back to the blog. Don’t want to overshadow how exciting today’s launch of the new blog is.
Wednesday, April 4, 2012 Sophia’s Corner: The Bang Over
After two weeks solid of travel, I’d spent enough time in mirror-covered hotel rooms to drive myself insane. First day back and sorely jet-lagged, I dragged myself into Goodform to see the magical Rebecca to help me concoct a way to cover at least half of my face. Now it’s onto the never-ending debate: do we tuck our bangs into or out of sunglasses? Thoughts?
Thursday, June 24, 2010 Sophia’s Corner: MSNBC Gets Nasty
I had the pleasure of meeting with MSNBC recently to be interviewed for one of my favorite shows, Your Business. Boorrrring, I know — but while fashion is a ton of fun, running a business is a challenge of near-biblical proportions. I didn’t study business, and until I started selling vintage on eBay years ago, I had no idea that the entrepreneurial bug would bite my ass so hard. Anyway, It’s cool to make my parents proud (Hey Ma, I’m on TV!). But I beg of you, please, don’t watch it in HD.
