Chelsea Wolfe, Gavin Turek, Pearl Charles and more are hitting up the Bootleg in L.A. January 27th – 29th.
Our friends at Girlschool are back at it with their second annual, all female-fronted festival at L.A’s Bootleg theater January 27th to 29th. With a lineup that includes Chelsea Wolfe, The Bird and the Bee, Pearl Charles, Madame Ghandi and DJ sets from Gavin Turek and Val Fleury, it’s a three day fest that’s gonna give you all the feels while making you feel good (proceeds will benefit Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls).
This year, expect talks and panel discussions from the likes of Ruidosa, SoundGirls.org, Music for Pictures (Alicen Schneider, NBCUniversal), Madame Gandhi, Women in Media (Andrea Domanick, Noisey), Dannielle Owens-Reid, Radical Aliveness (Jennifer Huang), Ableton Controllerism (Laura “Alluxe” Escudé), and Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls LA and a lot more.
Oh, and from today through the festival, Lyft will donate $10 to Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls LA for every new rider who takes their first ride using the code GIRLSROCK. You’ll also get $50 in credit ($5/ride for 10 rides), so you can get there fast.
Watch this space for some very special collabs from Girlschool and Lyft, as well as our own coverage of the event.
