Monday, March 31, 2014 Globetrotter: Hirari Ikeda
When we say Hirari Ikeda is a Tokyo street fashion icon, we ain’t kidding. There are entire blogs dedicated to her ever-evolving style, and her badass look even caught the eye of Diesel Art Director Nicola Formichetti who placed her in the brand’s spring/summer 2014 campaign. When she’s not mean-muggin’ on the streets of Harajuku, she works in one of the most influential shops in Tokyo, Dog. Take a peek inside the store and find out more about Hirari’s daily style inspiration in our interview below!

Monday, March 31, 2014 Nasty Gals In The Wild: Jessi Jae Joplin
As we dive deeper into festival season, we want to talk about all-things rave! Each day this week, contributor Nicky Ottav will hit up a member of L.A.-based fashion collective/cyber cool kids club The Fabulous Stains and ask ‘em to dish on their best fest tips.
Jessi Jae Joplin is the creator/founder of The Fabulous Stains fashion blog and the lead singer of the L.A-based pop/rock band The Ruckus (and a great friend of mine!). When Jessi isn’t blogging or playing shows, she models and styles photoshoots. Jessi also contributes to Buzznet, E! Online, and The Pulp Zine. I caught up with Jessi to get the lowdown on her favorite festival moments.

Friday, March 28, 2014 Top Tens: Things We Loved This Week
We can barely keep track of all the amazingly on-point articles, songs, and generally-awesome internet gems we discover every week, but instead of just emailing them to our BFFs and calling it a day, we’re going to start sharing them with y’all right here on the blog every Friday. (We’re cool like that.) Today, we honor the end of Women’s History Month with a very female-friendly edition of “Top Ten Things We Loved This Week.” Ch-ch-ch-check it outtt.
Friday, March 28, 2014 Artsy Fartsy: Luca Mainini
It’s impossible not to be mesmerized by Luca Mainini’s artwork. One look at his website, and you’ll understand why some of the biggest fashion industry players (think: Anna Dello Russo, Givenchy, and Moschino) have commissioned him to create one-of-kind collages. We just had to get a piece of the action (literally), so we asked him to create some hypnotic GIFs featuring our Nasty Gal Collection Spring 2014 and, of course, get to know the man behind the killer artwork.
Thursday, March 27, 2014 Right Now: Nazanin Mandi
Sure, Nazanin Mandi is a quadruple threat with her 17 years of singing, dancing, acting and modeling experience, but really, she’s just a dang fun person to hang out with. The L.A.-based babe (and girlfriend of Miguel!) took a break from recording her debut indie pop EP to talk about her upcoming music festival plans (which includes a photo diary she’s doing just for us, NBD), essential festival tips, and the key to a perfect selfie.
