Meet Marissa! She’s our Content Assistant, and one of the only girls we know who can pull off five unique patterns on one body. Her style is loud and bold, so it’s no surprise that her backpack is full of dreamy fluorescents, patterns on patterns, and snacks as cute as they are tasty. As she prepares to head back to school in the fall—to finish up an art history degree at UCLA—we got her to give us the deets on what’s inside!
“All my backpacks have a tinge of nostalgia—so, naturally, when I saw this 90’s holographic print, I had to have it. My friends say I have a Mary Poppins bag, because it’s always pretty full of knick knacks and essentials. In it today, I packed my favorite hat that I always wear backwards, pink sunnies that cover my eyebrows (a must), and my heartbreaker oxfords because you never know when you’re gonna need to change things up. I’m also really into purple lipstick at the moment. This Lime Crime shade is my ideal Barney-inspired hue. As for the Yan Yans, I’ve loved them since I was a kid and I don’t think I’ll ever stop eating them. Oh, and since I’m an art history major, I’m always reading a book on the subject. Today it’s an autobiography of Peggy Guggenheim!”
