Any girl who can go from rocking vintage band tees to the perfect party-proof ‘do for our latest “Lessons from the Pros” is sure to become a fan favorite here at NG. Take a break from your morning and come hang with Danielle to talk Bugs Bunny, studio soundtracks, and Netflix.
Hi Danielle! Where are you from?
I was brought up in Silverlake for most of my life. Atwater Village, to be specific. Now I’m living in Pasadena near the Rose Bowl, where they hold one of the best flea markets!
Growing up, what fictional TV character did you want to be best friends with?
I loved all classic cartoons growing up in the ’90s but my favorite has always been Bugs Bunny from Looney Toons! He is a wild rabbit with a clever, trickster personality with a New York accent. “Eh, what’s up doc?”
If life was like the third grade, and you were running for class president, what you advertise that you would change first?
What kind of music do you like to listen to while you’re on set?
Music plays such an important role that it can vary anywhere from ’90s house to pop to hip-hop and rap. It all depends on the mood of the shoot.
Who do you look most to for inspiration?
There’s so many amazing women: Twiggy, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Karlie Kloss, Adriana Lima, Rihanna, Beyoncé.
What is one cool aspect of modeling that is infrequently spoken about?
For me, it’s like a passionate dance routine.
What are your top 3 movies to watch instantly on Netflix?
Amélie, Clueless, Do the Right Thing
