There are quite a few heroes and heroines (some of whom bordered on tragic) in 90s TV series Twin Peaks, David Lynch’s borderline esoteric, quasi-surrealistic soap opera set in a fictional logging town in Washington. Donna Hayward’s one of the unsung saints, the sweet one, the pensive romantic, the girl with the strongest heart of all and an endearing flair for fantastical drama that often manifested as teary outburst. Brave when it came to tracking clues to the mystery of her BFF’s death, she never stooped to revenge. Oh Donna, you rock back inside our hearts.
