Afropunk, the New York-based music, fashion, diversity and look fly AF fest, landed in Los Angeles this week thanks to Red Bull Sound Select’s 30 Days in LA. But banger performances by Cakes da Killa and Bounce Queen Big Freedia were almost overshadowed by those who showed up, celebrated, glitter-painted and celebrated some of our country’s diverse perspectives.
