In true New York fashion, we kicked the weekend off by having brunch and talking shoes with the coolest babes we know. Next, it was on to our favorite NYFW pasttime, scoping street style outside of the tents, running into some of our favorite bloggers, models and multihyphenates along the way. Is this heaven?

Jenny Ong is the ultra adorable blogger behind Neon Blush. Her style is basically basics-gone-badass with quilted biker jackets, asymmetric minis and zipped boots being regulars in the rotation. When she’s not working or hanging out with her two pups, she’s tempting us with serious food porn on Instagram (girl has a thing for soft-boiled eggs).
Though the Polar Paradox blogger recently traded blonde for brunette, Whitney Cox is a California girl through and through. She loves to travel, but since she lives by the beach, she loves to come home even more. Even in short-shorts and heels, Whitney’s still as laidback and as sweet as they come.
The blogger behind Style2Bones, Dominque Nghiem’s style always stands out. She loves fluorescents, holograms and prints as out-of-this-world as she is. She’s almost always rocking a giant platform, even when she’s on a skateboard (though she has been known to make exceptions for safety).
From weekend shopping trips to joint hair appointments, we do pretty much everything as a twosome. So when Stef set off for six months of studying French and croissant eating in Paris, we wanted a way to continue sharing our lives from across the globe. Enter How Two Live, a blog where we began documenting our daily adventures, café finds, and latest wardrobe additions. 11 months later, and our online diary has led to a year of international fashion weeks, collaborations with some killer designers, and a whole lot of matching outfits.
Just the thought of fruity popsicle hues has us craving summer in a big way, so naturally our closets have been overflowing with chromatics lately. Colorblocking has saturated the runway and streets from ’60s minis to ’80s power suits, leaving us free to draw from decades’ worth of inspo to create our own technicolor combinations. So whether you mix it up with loud prints or rock every shade of the rainbow at once, it’s time to give into your color crush.
Jessica of Vintage Virgin walks the talk in our Zuri Cutout Booties paired with a totally awesome tank dress and hip-slung stripe tee. She keeps the monochrome vibes alive with a beanie born for the streets and chromed-out accessories—from her mirrored aviator shades down to her hyper-embellished cuffs and chains.

Is there anything chicer than all white everything? We love the idea of a blank canvas making a louder statement than any color-injected or print-packed look ever could. And just because it’s minimalist doesn’t mean white on white (on white) isn’t interesting; think light-bending shapes, stark silhouettes and super cool textures that pack enough punch to give your bold pieces a breather. Anyone can pull it off and it’s the easiest way to look put together without trying too hard (something we’re definitely into). So whether you go for white hot separates or a full-blown, head-to-toe whiteout, these street style snaps will give you a glimpse at the endless possibilites of the ultimate shade of cool.
