Stripes

Stripes are catapulting back into closets all over the world. Able to be worn anywhere, from coffee catch ups to dinner dates, a stripe print brings a classic, traditional vibe to any item it adorns. Two Piece and Three Piece Sets

Here at Nasty Gal, we adore matching sets. Need a head turning party look? An embellished skirt and crop top set is the way to go. A date night look? Grab a tailored vest and wide leg pants. Bows
You are the gift.
Bows appeared as a strong trend toward the end of 2023, and it will continue into 2024. With a classy, feminine charm, adding a bow to your look is the perfect way to keep things cute and flirty. Slip Dresses
Bring back the 90’s.
Slip into something a little more minimal, as slip dresses are making a return. A staple of 90’s fashion, slip dresses are often made from slinky satin, and sometimes adorned with feminine lace trims. Ultra comfortable, with a figure-skimming silhouette, a slip dress can be styled with anything from chunky knee high boots to strappy heels, to take you to any upcoming occasion in 2024. Metallics
Shine on.
Metallics appeared in summer 2023 as a year-defining trend, and the trend isn’t slowing down. Found especially in faux leathers, the metallic trend stormed parties, concerts, festival fields, and party season. We love the metallic movement as you can add it to your look in any way. Grab a pair of metallic pants or a dress to go all-out, or opt for a top or even a handbag for a more subtle nod.
Denim
A classic for a reason.
Denim never dies. Staples in deep blue hues are always a closet essential, able to be styled in any number of ways to see you from casual days out to not so casual nights out. Denim boiler suits, dungarees, and dresses are a twist on the expected, but we know you can’t go wrong with a good pair of jeans. Might we also suggest the return of skinny jeans? Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
Ruffles
Ruffle some feathers.
Bring a little volume, movement, and drama to your look with ruffled pieces. From mini skirts that will take you seamlessly from day to night, to statement dresses ideal for more formal plans, ruffles will be huge in 2024 and we’re so excited to see how they get styled.

Festival Outfit Trends

For when festival season rolls around, look no further than right here. We know you love our festival pieces, and we love dressing you for all your festival trips. This year, we’re taking a lot of inspo from our vintage roots, so be sure to check our vintage store for limited drops of genuine vintage pieces. If vintage isn’t your festival’s vibe, fringe and beading will be making a comeback. Perfect for dancing the night away and going from sunrise to sunset, our festival statement pieces will have you turning heads for another summer.
Accessories
Make a statement.
This year, we’re predicting the comeback of statement accessories. From oversized earrings and necklaces, to large, embellished sunglasses, to the return of cowboy hats, we’re throwing it back to the 00’s. We’re also prepared for the return of body jewelry and gems for vacation and festival season, and all the boho and western vibes.
Shoes
Stepped up looks.
In terms of footwear, we’re seeing the return of cowboy boots. With their classic pointed toes, embroidered detailing, and short heels, they’re the perfect all-rounder of a shoe that will see you from festival season to layering weather. Biker boots are going to remain a huge trend through 2024, with their statement, chunky, slightly masculine style and their ultra comfortable and hard-wearing designs.
Something we may not have expected, however, is the return of the gladiator sandal. With their iconic strappy style and ultra flat soles, gladiator sandals will be making a huge comeback in summer 2024.
