Introducing Nasty Gal beauty – our range of cruelty-free, vegan makeup and makeup tools designed with you in mind. To celebrate the occasion, we’ve got our gal @ellejamesmakeup to provide a step-by-step guide on how to achieve a Hailey Bieber-inspired blue eyeshadow look.
All of the products used are from our new beauty range and we know you’ll be rocking this iconic blue eye makeup look all season long (we know we will).
1. Base prep
Secure your brows using a brow gel or glue – create a feather effect by brushing up with a spoolie brush.
Add a eyeshadow primer or concealer to your eyelid for an even base that will help secure your blue eye makeup look all night long.
2. Add shadow to the crease
Add a dark brown eyeshadow from our Beauty Pigment Palette to your crease using a round eyeshadow brush.
3. Blend
Use a lighter transition shade and blend out the darker color using a fluffier round brush – like the one from our Eye Brush Set.
Using the same brush, pat the excess of the lighter shade on the rest of the lid to create a base for the glitter.
4. Add glitter
Using your index finger – take a glitter pigment from our Face & Eye Palette.
5. Add brown liner
Using the NG Beauty Brow Pomade and an angled liner brush, create a sleek eyeliner wing.
6. Add blue liner
To achieve the blue eyeliner look, use our Cream Eyeshadow in the shade Turquoise and an angled liner brush. Smudge the liner across your lower lash line and water line.
Build the pigment until you have your desired depth of blue eyeliner, and then add your go-to set of lashes.
7. Add blush
Apply a peachy blush with an angled cheek brush to the apples of your cheeks, and sweep up towards your temple to lift your cheekbones.
8. Lips
Apply a nude lipstick to the lips and top with a glitter gloss topper.
9. Highlighter
To complete the blue eyeshadow look, add highlighter to the tip of your nose and cheekbones to give a subtle, dewy glow.
We love to use the Multi Use Glitter Shot – this applies best when using your fingers as the heat will melt the product into your skin.
10. The finished look
Complete with your favorite leather jacket and your Hailey Bieber-inspired blue eyeshadow look is complete and ready to turn heads at pretty much any occasion.
